Which is better:NBA Ballers or NBA Street Vol. 2?

I would like to know which game is better. I really want a fun street basketball game. I've never played NBA Ballers so please tell me about it. Thanks in advance. :)
 
i have a ps2 and i got street 2 a while back for $30 or so. i have never played it on xbox, but i really enjoy playing it on my playstation. it is really fun, and if you have played the first one ( i dont know if it came out on the xbox). in 2, you can unlock tons more tricks and dunks and shit like that and it is hella fun playing with your buddies. the "story" mode is really fun too, but it can be challenging. it is also fun to create a player and throw down with the best of 'em.

IMO nba ballers is funner, but nba street 2 is not far off. nba ballers has a neat mode where you try to earn money for whips(cars) houses, ice(bling bling) ect. but game play is pretty similar. but nba street 2 is much cheaper. you can fetch it for $10 at TRU for GC or $14.99 at BB after GGC, ballers is mostly $30+ everywhere.
 
If you take into account everything, NBA Street 2 is better just because you can get it for so cheap now.

On a strictly "how good is it" basis, I'd say Ballers is a little better (although not much...it just has more to do).
 
I think I can get Ballers for $10 at Gamerush (same with street) used so price doesn't really matter. I guess I will go with Ballers.
 
I think street is better cuz the moves are easier to pull off and the controls feel smoother, but that may be cuz I've been playing street a lot longer

I'd say street vol.2, ballers had some weird garbage in it. Street had more cusomizing stuff and a better story/career mode I think.
 
NBA Street Vol. 2. I have both Streets and Ballers. I enjoy Ballers, but it's not even close. I would even say NBA Street ("Vol. 1") is better than Ballers.
 
Honestly, I really wanted to like Ballers, but it felt really shallow compared to Street. For $10 you can't go wrong though.

If possible, get both. Street (Vol. 2, I'm not sure about 1) has 4 player support which is a blast to play.
 
Street one didn't even come out on xbox if i remember correctly.

But it is a real shame having to use the xbos controller for the NBA street game IMO. The two turbos by two trick buttons is a real shame to the street name. It just plays better with one trick button and four turbos.

I haven't played Ballers, so I can't comment on that. All I can say is I thought it looked like crap, but everyone seems to like it.
 
I'd definately have to say Street. NBA Ballers is a good game but I don't find the 1-on-1 to be as exciting as 3-on-3. Street is great with the multitap and a few friends too.
 
I've played both and I like Ballers more. Street was fun but it kinda got boring after playing it for awhile. Ballers is more fun IMO if you have 2 other friends to play with.
