I picked up the party version for me and my wife at the TRU clearance sale ($10) and we were hooked. We also went back and got the country version for $20 and bought the American Idol version.
I got real lucky and found Vol. 1 & 3 at a gamestop after using their inventory serch function on their website (best place to look first) after discounts they came out to $20 each which is a steal compared to their EBAY value ($60-$75)
I am still searching for Vol 2.
Thankfully the game stores have not caught on to how rare these games are, Vol 2 is listed as $18 (1 & 3 were listed as $25)
I was able to get $61 for my used Karaoke Revolution (Vol 1) on eBay.
about 3 months after the first one came out I saw it at Blockbuster (complete) for $10 and decided to pass cause I didn't think it could be that fun but I was wrong! half the fun is making an ass of yourself =)
Maybe the prices will go down after the hype of the AI version die down. It would be nice if they re-released them but I am not holding my breath.
Since when is Vol. 2 rare? I sold my Vol 1 for $45 a while ago, and Vol.2 was going for $15 sealed on ebay at that time.
If it really is rare, I may be saying bye-bye to it REALLY soon.
^ I sold a sealed volume 2 on EBay for $35 about 2 months ago, and looking at EBay I am annoyed for not waiting to sell it as I see one sold for $85 new
damn i got this thing at launch, volume 1, sold it on ebay for like $50 , basically broke even with a small loss, but geez! now its getting this much?!
I saw Vol. 3 bundle today at my CC and was like WHOA! (never seen it before) It was marked at $60 and I figured it had to have had a price drop since that label was printed bur sure enough it rang up $59.99 =(
Oh well I bought a used copy from GS for $20 after coupons a few weeks ago.
