Which Mario Party for GC?

There are 3 Mario Parties for the GC. Which one is the best? Used to play the n64 one with friends drunk all the time.

Are there any other party games I should look at? I see that super monkey ball is a lot like Mario Party.
 
I had never played a mario Party before 4. Since then my wife and me have picked up the new ones faithfully. I personally liked 4 the most. The mini games are great. Then 6 then 5.

5 is a little to slow paced 6 gets the speed but doesnt have the it factor that 4 had for us.
 
As far as party games cube is the place for that.

Mario party's
Monkey Ball
Alien Hominid (has a great PDA minigame)
Wario Ware
Super Smash Bros (best selling gamecube game for a reason)
I could go on and on about all the games offered with 4 player fun for the cube.
 
Honestly, each one is better than the previous... but 6 really tries hard to make that statement untrue. While it does have faster gameplay (you'll wonder how you ever played without it) it has a horrid mic feature with some of the worst games ever. Also, I think the amount of purely random games has increased with the latest one.
 
Well since you were drunk playing the ones on N64 I'm sure any one of them would seem fun for you =P. But the mini-games in 4 are seemingly better than the ones in 5. Although in 5 I think you have all these other kinds of adventure type things like building your own battle car machine and something with . um..little Bowser -.-;; (I don't remember that dudes name now...), but those games type things aren't that great.. As for the mini-games in 5 I've played the ones in the demo and those were fun.. but that's was ALL that was fun, so it wasn't that great and I end up buying MP4.

Now 6 I have yet to play.. so I don't know if you want to count this umm opinoin as anything.

Super Monkey Ball I and II-- you should get.. IMO I like the second one. The first one seemed sorta dull after playing it a few times, but the second one it didn't get as "dull" as the first.

MP4 if u can get it for $20, i never played it myself but everyone seems to like it over MP5, and if i could get it for $20 i would but the targets around me are out of stock

MP6 is what i have, and the mic games are pretty fun, and if u get drunk it'll be fun, the mic mode itself is better than the mic minigames in the boards(make any sense?)

well there is a mic mode with a jeopardy style game where you and friends take turns answering questions, a time attack type game where u command the character across a land with obstacles, and i think couple more minigames(cant really remember)

too bad they cant just make a mario party all stars game and have all the minigames on one disc, i would buy that for full price
