I have two xbox in mind. which should I buy?

from GameStop:
Xbox 360 60GB
Call of Duty 4 (my #1 game choice)
Total - 420 with tax$

from Dell.com:
Xbox Elite
Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2 - FREE (they sound like ok games. I can probably play them for a few months)
2 free FacePlates
Total: $430 (including shipping and taxes)

So either get an xbox with a game I would really enjoy or 120gb with 2 games i might not like for about the same price?

It all depends on which content you are going to be dealling with:

If you are going to be buying a lot of media like movies and Xbox Live Arcade games then I would go with the Elite.

If you just want a system to play games and don't care about Xbox Live Arcade or any other media then just go with the 60GB.

You just have to decide if the extra 60GB in the Elite hard drive is worth it. I am not going to touch the face plates because I doubt they will add any value to you. You can get the Marvel/Forza pack for $20 (may be lower now) at Gamestop. Marvel was a good game, but I don't think you'll get a couple of months out of it.

Try this:
The Gamestop bundle + Marvel/Forza = $440.

The Dell bundle + COD 4 ($59.99) = $490

So is the extra 60GB you'll get from the Elite worth $50 to you?

Don't pay $60 for COD4. I got a copy for $35 new a week after it came out. You shouldn't have to pay more than $30 now. Whether you buy the Elite of the 60GB, buy COD4. Don't get stuck with two games you won't enjoy that aren't really worth anything. You won't want to be playing Forza and UA for more than a week.

With download-to-drive coming out, and bigger XBLA games, the double storage space may well be worth it. But 60 GB is a lot, you'll be able to download 5 games to the drive comfortably, and still have room for XBLA and a few videos. Look at the price difference, and ask yourself is 60 extra GB worth that money to you.

I highly recommend you buy from Best Buy, and get the 2-year warrantee. I don't work for BB, it's just I've used my warrantee several times, and couldn't be happier. If there is a price cut between when you buy and when it breaks, they give you the extra money in credit, and you can use it to extend your warrantee even longer, or buy a better model 360. If my 360 broke right now, I'd bring it back in and triple my storage space at no extra cost. And with the store warrantee, you have a new 360 back in an hour at most, compared to the weeks it takes MS to send you a coffin, repair the console, and ship it back.

If you just intend on playing games and watching a movie now and then, go with the Pro. If you intend on playing games and constantly downloading TV Shows/Movies, go with the Elite.
