Hello everyone. I hope this is an appropriate place to post this.
For many years I have purchased my favorite TV shows on video. I went from DVD to Blu-ray, and now it seems I must move to the realm of "the Cloud". Certain shows I want to buy (mostly animation like the new Tron show, Young Justice, The Legend of Korra, etc.) are either not on DVD, or they are, but not on Blu-ray. I am trying to decide between iTunes, Amazon Video, Xbox Video, PlayStation or some other option to purchase the HD versions of these shows.
I have all the consoles and handhelds needed to watch any of the services, but I want the one that has the highest quality. In other words, 720p seems to be the standard for the downloaded version, but 1080p is available for 'streaming' only.
Of course there is also the price difference to consider as well, but I am more interested in getting the best picture quality, possibly approaching the Blu-ray level.
Any help and/or information is appreciated.
