who got the $60 off video game purchase from amazon with X360?

Just got mine today, but I have no idea what game I want to get. Is this code limited to video games only (I mean can this be applied to video game accessories, too?) I've never had a promo code from amazon before, maybe someone here has used these kinds of codes before. Also, do these codes expire anytime soon? Should I use it right away?
 
Once again, I'd like to mention my suggestion that members be prohibited from posting until they have been registered for a full 30 days... that would help to eliminate a lot of this crap from people who join the site and just spam away, without even learning the forum layout.

Ha... yeah some of them were a tad harsh. Its just that people get kinda of sick of it after awhile seeing posts that don't fit. Too many of these push legitimate deals onto the second page, which means they get a lot less hits.

Questions go in a different forum. This thread is dedicated to deals you find that aren't already posted. As you can see, you are the only OP that posted a question in this entire forum. "Look before you leap", as the saying goes...

I agree with you to a certain extent.... except I would say maybe 15 to 20 days plus a legitmate amount of posts. This would keep spammers off the boards, while at the same time requires that a person post a few times in different forums to get a feel for the site. There are people you simply join up, then a few months down the road actually start becoming a contributing member.... the post requirement would guarantee that these people also had legitmate experience with the forum layout.
 
Well sorry. Some people who actually have jobs who go out and work then come home don't always expect to get trashed by full-time forum junkies whose duty is remind each and every new person where, how, and what they should be posting. Apologies if I'm sounding like an ass, I did had a bad day at work.

1) More information on what you are talking about. Is that $60 off a gaming purchase when purchased with an Xbox 360 system? Did you recently purchase one from Amazon? I order stuff from Amazon monthly almost (including games) and I've never received this.

2) You'll notice this has been moved to the deal discussions and bragging rights forum. Good place to go for questions and info about deals themselves. The difference (and point of the main deals forum) is to post a deal you've found for others to enjoy. Like if Amazon had suddenly put a bundle up on their site with the ability to pick a free game or something like that. But even that moves fast here, things get picked up on quick. Unique coupon codes won't help much obviously.

3) If something like this gets posted....expect to see a lot of smart-ass remarks. It's the internet for god's sake. Serious business.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly but the Black Friday ad from Amazon said something about saving $60 off your next video game purchase when getting a 60gb Xbox360. The actual email says $60 promotional code valid towards the purchase of video game items at Amazon.com/games. Amazon by far had the best deal compared everything else you can go out and buy in the store (add on tax wherever you go in your city). I'm not sure what it is but there is NOWHERE I can find an official xbox360 wireless adapter for a bargain so I went ahead and got that for $22 after putting in the code (free shipping). I hope I did good.
