I was kind of late to do this. But I recently watched the entire first season of Angel on DVD. What a way to watch your shows. No commercials and when a show is well written watching a season in such a short span can show you where they were going with plot points

I've done that with all 3 seasons of the only show to be resurrected due to (phenomenal) dvd sales...Family Guy.

I love Seasons of TV shows on Dvd. Buffy and angel on Dvd so great because you catch all the little things. I've got the first 4 seasons of Buffy and the 1st and 3rd season of Angel. But some shows never should collected on DVD.

omg..im so happy they releasing in living color on dvd....i cant wait this tuesday im gonna be at best buy to pick up matrix and season one

I want X-men, and Spider-Man( the fox cartoons), Digimon and Pokemon released in seasons. That would kick ass. Digimon and Pokemon would be uncut so we all see the seizure pokemon episode.

mortal kombat ocnquest...that has to be like my favorite tv show slong with married with children and in living color and simpsons.....mk rules

I want older, more obscure stuff released on DVD. Stuff like Beans Baxter, Brisco County, Parker Lewis.

Of course, I'd sell grandbabies for Max Headroom on DVD.

i want those, but also the old sonic cartoon (the serious one) and the old tick cartoon. also, the WB superman, batman, and justice league would rule.

Mortal Kombat Conquest got a DVD release?! And yet Adventures of Brisco County Jr. can't get no love...

yup i own a few but the entire season did not come out...

This DVD thing seems to be a great way to see shows you may have missed. my wife kinda hogs the tv setup She works nights and usually has two shows going on at once and even sometimes all three of the house vcrs going taping her crap. I'm thinking of seeing 24 on DVD i tried watching the first season but missed like two shows and was lost and I gave up. I sadly never really saw X-files either and have been mulling buying those DVDs

Just like X-men and Spider-man, the wb batman and justice league is being sold in Story arcs. Which is just ok. and Yeah, The Tick would kick super-sized ass.

If you've got a TiVo, it's really like having no commercials anyway.

I got into Cowboy Bebop on DVD and got my girlfriend into 24 by her watching the first two seasons on DVD. It's a great way for people to catch up on shows popular now.

Another issue I have that makes the DVDs so good is that I have a hard time committing to shows fearing that they may be canceled. Networks these days dont give shows half a chance. A show like Seinfeld had bad ratings starting off if it aired now especially on Fox it would probably be cancelled. recent shows whose cancelations that have bugged me include Firefly and i dunno the name here but it was on UPN and starred the oldest brother of party of five as a Guy who could see ghosts ala the Sixth Sense. That one really hurt becuase i was interested in where the story was going. The worst cancelation ever for me was Fastlane on Fox I loved that show it was like Miami vice for the new age. poor Tiffani Amber Theissen is still being help captive and being shot with heroin cause they left thta in such a ckliff hanger

speaking of tiffany amber ((she is so damn hot)))

how can i forget saved by the bell....one of my favs...why cant they release that lol

I watched the entire season one of 24 in the span of like 4 days. That is the PERFECT show to watch on DVD since each episode takes place right after the next. I was hooked!

I don't remember Beans Baxter, but Brisco County and Parker Lewis were both great shows. I was just watching Weird Science the movie not even 10 minutes ago. You know what would be a good TV show to release on DVD?

Weird Science!
ive done it with the simpsons and saved by the bell, sbtb patry!!
I thought Zack was the man back in the day. I recently saw an episode and had to laugh when he brought out his cell phone that was bigger than a brick. What did people do with their cell phones back then. It was probaly easy for the woman back then cause they had purses but what about the guys you were not stick one of those things in your pocket
ive done it with the simpsons and saved by the bell, sbtb patry!!
you did it with the simpsons? all of them? now thats stamina.

the shows are soooo timeless, which is kinda shocking

belding: screech you cant elope!
screech: dont call me a cantalope you melon head!

well ive never done all three seasons but ive watched them all seperatley

Fastlane did kick ass, but I never it on fox, it came on MTV later in the week. MTV or Spike should have picked it up. The Head, the state, and the maxx should be on DVD.

100th Post. I am not new anymore!!

I don't think MTV or Spike would afford/pay for it. it had to be quite an expensive show with all of the action and a couple of stars who probably pulled a good salary

OMG, THE X-MEN FOX and to a lesser degree, Spider-Man FOX cartoons RULED. So did Digimon! Seasons 1 + 2 only though. Meh on Pokemon. But I can't believe we have such similar tastes. Will you r0xx0rz my box0x0rz? (If I had any? ;))

This is pretty much the only way I watch TV shows anymore. I'm currently watching season 3 of Angel and season 5 of Stargate SG-1. I have all of Buffy that's been released and seasons 1-3 of The Soprannos. I've borrowed from friends and watched CSI 1&2 (3 soon, as soon as my co-worker is done with it ;)) and Firefly. I also have a few other such as King of Queens season 1, Simpsons 1&2, Family Guy 1, and Futurama 1.

I'm about to buy my wife 1-7 of Friends since Best Buy is running a kick-ass deal on it this week. Buy all 7 at once, and they take $100 off the total. They average about $20 a pop that way.

I'm very patiently waiting my Seinfeld on DVD...then nothing else matters. :)

I just watch anime series on dvd. I can't name one current American TV show that actually intrigues me enough to watch it.

Seasons 1-3 of the Simpsons
Seasons 1-3 of South Park
Seasons 1-3 of Family Guy
First season of the Undergrads
The first season of The Uwful Truth
Season 1-3 of Futurama
The Legend of Zelda (13 episode run)

And they aren't complete seasons, but I have 6 DVDs of the cooking show "Good Eats", and every VHS tape of the Rhino released Mystery Science Theather 3000.

I've watched all the Simpsons, Famliy Guy, Futurama, MASH, Chappelles Show and Sopranos that are out. I really want to see That '70s Show out soon, but I haven't seen anything about it.

YES i jsut found out theyre releasing samurai jack season one on dvd in may! this is almost as good as tick on dvd. also, sealab 2021 is comin out in july! oh happy day!

is like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain

I own Family Guy boxes 1 and 2, also saw various anime series on DVD. Watched Six Feet Under and the Sopranos all on DVD.

That's a great show!

I also like Iron Chef. I'd love to see all the battles on some dvd sets! That's something I'd buy.

I've done this a lot. My TV on DVD collecting has gotten a bit out of hand and my wife keeps asking "Are there any more shows you HAVE TO have?"

I have everything so far released for X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, King of Queens, MST 3K, Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Ben Stiller Show, and I just recently got the Special Edition set of Freaks and Geeks (only available from the show's official website. It's more expensive, but has much more for diehard fans of the show. I HIGHLY recommend it)

Season One of Monk is coming in June, along with Season Four of The Simpsons, and Season One for Reno 911. I'll be getting them all, along with Season Six of Buffy in May. And I preordered NewsRadio Season 1 & 2, but it's been delayed while they add more content than just the episodes.

I agree. My lady and I cracked out on the first and second seasons for about 3 weeks. We finished just in time to catch the first episode of season 3. :D

Aside from that, I cracked out on Trigun (all 8 DVD's in about 4 nights) and the Evangelion series (entire set in 2 nights). As you can see, it has to be really good in order for me to watch it. :D I tried cowboy bebob but that was boring. Got about 3 episodes in and said, eh...

I now own the entire series of Transformers Generation 1 on DVD, and have the miniseries and first season of G.I Joe on DVD.

Kid Rhino is bleeding me dry!

Brisco County and Parker Lewis are 2 of the best shows ever. I would so love to see a DVD compilation of these shows. The only reason I ever watched the X files the first season is because it was on after Brisco County. And Parker Lewis just rules.

Other series that need to be on DVD: Titus, and Greg the Bunny.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force= one of the best season dvds ever. Once Sealab 2021 and Harvey Birdman come out; it's going to be a full day of nothing but television for me. Don't forget the Critic Dvd set which is quite possibly one of the best "series dvds" ever. ALL the episodes for $39,99? Hell yeah.

Harvey Birdman: Crime Scene Investigator
Harvey Birdman: Sex Crimes
Harvey Birdman: Sex Crimes Scene investigator

23 new series of Harvey Birdman, a new one each week!

Some of those commercials on Adult swim are great.

Doink Doink... Law and Order is on... again.

harvey is the only one currently not on schedule to be produced. check amazon. sealab is coming out june or july, but no birdman. and the dabba don episode is one of the best

ewww gleep juice. or is it gloop
