I just bought Resident Evil 5 for my PC and love playing it online. Unfortunately it doesnt seem too many people play online. Either that or I never get servers as much during matchmaking because my gamer zone was set to recreation lol.
So if anyone wants to chat or play RE5 together, tell me!
My gamertag is Wolf00987

I wouldn't be opposed to playing it online with anyone, however, I won't be able to for a few weeks. If you're still interested I'll pm you when I get the chance.

I found the recent entries of Resident Evil to be too slow...Could be because I am use to other survival horrors that have a little more speed like 'Left 4 Dead', 'Killing Floor', 'Zombie Apocalypse', 'Dead Frontier', 'They Hunger' and 'Dead for Dead.'

I tried to get into Resident Evil 5 but it was a no go for me.

The term "survival horror" is meaningless. Those are just a bunch of games with zombies.

With Resident Evil being a game that centers around zombies (for the most part)...What's your point?

While the games you mentioned do have a "survival" element when one speaks of survival horror as a genre they usually mean adventure games that have generally limited combat, a great deal of puzzle solving and exploration, backtracking, a frightening atmosphere, etc. Examples of the genre being the earlier Resident Evil games, the Clock Tower series, the Silent Hill series, the Siren series, etc.

I'm actually sitting on a copy atm that i've been meaning to install ... once I get everything settled around here I'll be glad to play
