Why did onimusha 3 drop so fast?

The onimusha series rocks, i recommend buying 1 2 and 3 for like 20 bucks total at EB while they still have the buy2get1 free.
 
People were probably expecting it to play like Devil May Cry, which it didn't. Personally, I love the series. I bought Onimusha 3 at the release, and it was worth it.

At EB the other day, I picked up Onimusha 3 used for $12.99. How the heck did that game get so cheap in under a year? It isn't like it sucked like Devil May Cry 2. On Metacritic, it averages an 85 out of 100.

So, what's the deal? Was it overproduced? Did people not know about it? Capcom is usually good about taking out back-cover ads to pimp their stuff (at least they did when I worked at Game Informer), so that's unlikely. I can't even find it on BestBuy.com or CircuitCity.com.

What do you guys think of it? It's not too high on my to-play list (with GTA:SA, NBA Street 3, Burnout 3, Tekken 5, and RE 4 taking up most of my game time and KOTOR II and Mercenaries waiting in the wings), but I definitely want to play it before tooo long.

I've played the demo of Blinx 2 and it was really, really boring.

I've seen the intro, and it is nice. Haven't played it though.

I'm a Jean Reno fan, so it irks me that he's been dubbed over in the game with an English voice. I'm fairly sure that like the main star, he spoke his own Japanese dialogue (Reno has experience with working on Japanese movies). Too bad unlike foreign films, we're not given a subtitle option. At least - this is what I've heard.

If so, very weak.

Why would anyone expect the Onimusha series to play like DMC when Onimusha 1 was released almost 9 months prior to Devil May Cry?
 
this is one of the best games i've ever played

the gameplay experience is just amazing

same goes for Prince of Persia Sands of Time
