Why dont people TRADE music CDs?

i got a music cd i been trying to dump for months for 4 bucks shipped

the essenital pop sampler it has like 10 songs on it sealed i even tried to trade it off but no go on either end

I wouldnt be adverse to trading and/or buying cds if someone had underground hip hop type stuff. I'm talking Deep Puddle Dynamics, Deltron 3030 (anything that Dan the Automator is involved with), Sage Francis, etc. I'd be down with trance music and/or heavy metal as well (Slipknot, Ghost Machine, Motograter, etc).

I'm willing to trade CDs, and even for CDs with videogames if someone has an album that interests me. Here is a list of a few albums I've been trying to unload:

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
Linkin Park - Reanimation
Linkin Park - Meteora
Oakenfold - Bunkka
Oleander - February Son
Oleander - Joyride
Trust Company - The Lonely Position Of Neutral
Has anyone tried trading cds in at FYE? They give a good amount of credit for games, how about cds or even movies?
Usually I've seen people average $3-4 a cd for most stuff. If you keep your stuff in good condition, it's a good place to unload for quick cash.

Slipcock and heavy metal should never go in the same sentence, unless the sentence is: Slipcock is not heavy metal.
I trade CDs to FYE all the time. Buy 20 cds for $1 and trade em all in for 3.75 each =]
Why, they give you that much for any cd?

If anyone has System of a Down Albums (any besides Toxicity), Rammstein (besides Mutter and Reise Reise), I'm interested. Also looking for Staind Chapter V and Disturbed Ten Thousand Fists but since they haven't been released yet, I'd be scared if someone had a copy.

If so, I'd let them go for next to nothing for you.

Well, I'll put it out there. I'm looking for any Dead Kennedys CD, as I refuse to buy em new (thatw hole lawsuit thing). They must be complete though.

haha - yea - up until recently I had all of them - my car got broken into and somebody stole my CD visors (that I tripple stuffed  ) so I got left with a huge stack of empty CD cases in my room at home and just never really got motivated to buy any of the stuff I had - now when I get CD I burn a copy and put that in my car. :D Sorry for the story but I had to justify why I was looking for them
