I just got the Nyko Charging Station from Gaminglagoon, but, it doesn't seem to work. I put both batteries in the wiimote, attach them to the cover, and put them on the stand. The LED light doesn't light up. I take off the wiistraps on both remotes. The LED light doesn't light up. I pull out the battery and battery cover and just stick it on the gold plate thing but it doesn't work. I looked on youtube, and people just place it on with EASE or just drop it on there and it lights up. Apparently, mine doesn't.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is it broken or something?
 
If it is plugged in, then it Seems to be broken. I keep the wrist straps on, and just put the controllers in the cradles. I have never had a problem.
 
Happened to me too. Purchased two charge stations from Walmart. One worked fine, one had to be exchanged, just did not work. Quality control?
 
funny, I made a thread about the Joytech Charging station and no one replied except me. The Joytech one runs a passthru power cable that bridges the power and into the Wii. Nintendo does not recommend such a device because it might damage the Wii and the remotes... I have read reports that these charging stations kill the Wiimotes.
 
DO NOT BUY NYKO PRODUCTS!

I bought one of their cheap ass things that actually tore up my hardware - twice. And their customer service is useless. :(
 
I had a similar problem so I exchanged it for a new one and it's worked perfectly since.

I wouldn't have touched it if I didn't have the option to exchange it if it didn't work.
