Marvel Ultimate Alliance 49.99
Metal Slug Anthology 49.99
Need for Speed: Carbon 49.99
Rayman Raving Rabbids 49.99
Red Steel 49.99

Sponge Bob Square Pants: Creature 49.99
Great news. Any word about console availability?
Not yet. When I asked on Wednesday, they hadn't heard. The guy working thought they were going to do limited preorders (similar to what I have heard they plan on doing for the PS3), so that they don't have problems like they did with the 360.

My guess is that they will do a limited preorder and that we'll be able to place those orders sometime after the Tokyo Game Show, where I expect the final price for US release and a "fairly solid" list of launch titles will be annouced.

fuck you, Activision. Not that I'd be playing it on the Wii, but still...

I doubt any of those prices are final.. but if Activision does charage $60 for the Wii version than they're screwing themselves and Nintendo. When the game doesn't sell, they'll just blame it on something or another other than the price.

Also, with only 10 games I'm guessing that there's a few more since there's supposed to be ~20 games at launch. And I'm not seeing any Nintendo titles there either...

Nope, can't reserve Zelda for Wii, which is what I wanted. You can reserve the GC version though.

Is it just me or was anyone else kinda disappointed by this list?

How is EB's policy on price adjustments with preorders? There are no official prices yet, so if we preorder something at $50 or $60 and it comes out at $40 or $50, are they good about giving the difference back?
That CAN'T be the final list......there isn't a single NINTENDO game on there!
Why would you expect them to have a final list already?

i don't remember Metal Slug, but I've put pre-orders down on some of those games already. My Red Steel is almost paid in full (just a few more dollars plus tax I think). Everything else I plan on transferring whenever they get the Nintendo games in the system.

Hehe, most people reading this are probably thinking "what a dumb question - of course they'll give you the difference". But Botticus and I have experience with preorders at Gamerush where they DO NOT credit you the difference when a game actually comes out cheaper than they expect. I just cancelled my Rogue Galaxy and Okami preorders there as they have them both at $50 and EB has them for $40. Of course, we have many preorders fully paid for because of the preorder deal they ran a while back.

Edit - about Gamecrazy - definitely random stores, as I've been told no at a few, including the "headquarters" store in Wilsonville, OR (where they often test market deals before running them nation-wide).

Same, but apparently at my GS.. they'll call you and ask if you'd like to switch over to the Wii. Not sure on that though.

Totally disappointing. It's not final however. Wii Sports and Zelda are two official launch titles, according to the NOA CEO.

I think I'll but some money down on Red Steal & maybe Rayman 4. I wish they would put up a list of Nintendo games, as I basically want them all

You can add Trauma Center: Second Opinion to that list, I just put $5 on it yesterday, along with Metal Slug Anthology.
