I think Wii's are actually pretty easy to find now. I recently bought a used one with 9 of the best disc games and 12 of the best VirtualConsole games, 2 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks, classic controller, and more for $310 - so if you don't mind buying used I think lots of people will be converting their paperweights into cash. Given the number of new Wiis that HAVE been purchased and how many people now think they are just paperweights, if you don't have one yet but still want one, I strongly encourage you to watch the used market (and I don't mean Gamestop - which now seems to carry them used for $200). I predict in another year or two you will see a Wii at nearly every garage sale.
