I just wanted to let you guys know that if you go to the best buy web site and type in "Wii U" you will see a list of two Wii U systems (one white & one black) with no price displayed.
However, if you click on "Get 4% back in rewards" next to the Wii U systems, you are told that you will get 598 reward points for buying the Wii U. On this same screen it says that you get 2 points for every dollar spent....
So, divide 598 by 2 and you get exactly 299. In other words, the Wii U should be $299.
