Hey guys, sorry if this is a repost, or if I'm in writing in the wrong thread catagory. Please throw me a link if it is.

So even though Gamestop guts (most of) their New games for the Gamedays sale, can other stores that normally allow Pricematching to do so from this sale?

Thanks! I'd love me some cheap SEALED games...

They will. Except they'll also have to open the games in front of you before they give them to you, so they can match Gamestop exactly ;)

Don't be scaring the OP like that.

Mind you, I wish they would match Gamestop's glitch that I just read about in the Game Days sale where it was taking $5 off of everything on orders.

Hmmm, from what was later reported, weren't most of these orders cancelled?

As far as matching, I would recommend taking at least a printout of the GameDays sale page for the games you are matching. Though Best Buy has always been a ball buster when it came to pricematching for me - it had to be an actual physical advertisement...they've never matched amazon or online prices/printouts for me.

But in any case, I would suggest buying the games first, then going to the Customer Service Counter to get the pricematch + 10% of the difference. I doubt they will match the price as well as the 10% bonus coupon PLUS the difference, though.

Yeah. Most of those orders WERE cancelled from what I remember reading, but it still never hurts to try(unless the company locks up your credit for a long time before putting it back on your card).

Ouch, that's just a stab to the gut, along with getting :twoguns:...

Anyway, it seems like it's been mixed as to whether they'll Price Match or not. I'll prob. have to go this weekend and let you guys know if they will.

In the past, I've just printed out the website page showing the price and that was enough to get a price match. YMMV of course. I've been told some stores don't accept the website printout, but you won't know unless you try.
Someone mentioned about a week ago that select Targets were taking part in a price matching pilot program.
That would be nice to see. They're one of the last big chains that doesn't price match.

also the prices listed in the ad in last yr game days doesn't mention if it's new or used. I tried to PM from last years gamedays sale at Walmart and they rejected it because they thought it applied to used only....
