Will play anywhere expansion pass for forz a horizon 3 work with a physical copy of the base game?

Like it says in the title, I have the physical base game and the play anywhere expansion is for sale cheap will it work together? Thanks

yes, I don't see why it wouldn't work, the expansion pass is like any other DLC, if you buy it then you should be able to download Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels, I am planning on getting it too before this sale is over and I have FH3 on disk as well
