UPDATE: CONTEST IS OVER. iHack is our winner!

Hey fellow CAGs,

I am doing a project for my statistics class and I need to collect data for my project. I decided to give away a $5 Amazon.com gift card to one random poster who contributes data for my study.

To Enter: Post how many hours of TV you usually watch a week and whether you are single or married.

Deadline to enter the contest will be posted at a later date.

Good luck.

Edit: Deadline is 11/9/2009 6:00 PM EST

Single, about 10 hours, mostly from watching Married with Children as much as I can before falling asleep. Without that, I'd be closer to an hour or two a week.

Single

Active Watching = 5 hours.
Defined by sitting/laying down, specifically focusing on a TV show rather than doing something else at the same time.

Passive Watching = 20 hours.
Defined by having the TV on as background noise while playing a game, working on the computer, arranging music, etc. Any time where whatever is on the TV isn't the focus of what I'm doing.

Well, what do you mean by "TV"?
If you mean cable or satellite broadcasting then - 0 hours because I don't have either.
If you mean TV shows in general, I watch a good 30 hours a week of "TV" mind you that includes everything from Southpark to Japanese Anime.
Oh, and I'm single

4-5 hours of programming in front of the TV.
Most of what I watch I find on the internet, and most of the time I spend in front of the TV is playing video games.

Add those in and I guess I'm looking at about 20 hours a week.

Relationship, but not Married.

single and 0 hours

though, and important distinction here is watching t.v. shows online?? If so, i watch about an hour of t.v. shows online a week
