Entered, but I'm not sure if one of those 2 airship things near the beginning is Mokona, so now I doubt I got the right answer.

Actually there's more than 7 or 8, not including the one on the DVD cover. The thing is, one of the Mokonas is on the same scene as another one, but at a different camera angle, so I'm not sure whether or not to count it.

It's not that good though the manga seems to flow better than the anime. You're probably best served if you are a fan of Clamp's work.

As for the contest, what the poop? This is the first time that team work is not a bad idea.

Thanks to Endokun, I missed the one on Kurogane's shoulder (#2). I put down 10, counting the DVD cover. My eyes hurt now...PUUUU!

Doesn't it look like the rest of his popped up collar? I know it has a little light shading to it like it could be Makona but it also could be a reflection from some light source or something. Nonetheless I put down 10 as my answer. I hope they count the DVD cover as one >.< Thanks again.
 
Does it say how many are in the trailer, or how many total? My thoughts are that it counts all of the ones in the teaser page as well... The exact wording is: "Tell us how many times you see Mokona" but doesn't say anything about the trailer. Am I missing anything?
 
I usually include a thanks to the OP for contests I enter, but for some reason I forgot to for this one (probably was on a public comp and low on time). I only entered for the slim chance at winning a free DS, since I figured my odds were next to none for winning (and I never win anything). I just found out yesterday that although I did not win the DS, I did win one of the runner up prizes.

I just got home from college and there was a giant, slender, package awaiting me from Funimation. I remember thinking wtf, I would never buy ANY product from funimation, ever. I opened it up, and inside, I was greeted by a giant, fuzzy, Mokona toy. I'll post pics, if and when I can ever get access to a digital camera.

So I'm sorry for not saying it earlier, but many thanks to the OP! Now what to do with this stuff I got...Btw, I think I counted something like 10 or 11 Mokonas; I know I had more than most of the people here did.
