Yeah...you really can. A bubble pops up and says, "You've gone over your usage limit for this hour."

It makes sense if you think of how often the Twitter servers get overloaded and it whales. I wasn't tweeting, just refreshing and waiting for your codes. I probably refreshed 100 times (FF add-on) and that's probably how it happened.
