Windows 7/iTunes Taskbar Controls

I recently got a new computer with Windows 7. I installed iTunes and it works fine. One of the new features in Windows 7 is that when you hover over the iTunes icon, you can control the music playing via previous, next, or play/pause. However these controls do nothing for me and don't stop the music from playing. I tried to look around for a fix but couldn't find one so far. Has anyone else had this problem and had luck making it work? Thanks

lol nice one...but iTunes still works fairly well if you use a mac

I suggest using a program called " Media Monkey " . It is an overall better experience than itunes, plus great UI.

Oh, itunes works ok.

I had to install it in one of my pcs. I bought a usb turntable so I can convert my massive record collection into mp3's and it uses itunes as it's software. I then burn them to cd's. Not the best option, but it works.
