I know this isn't gaming-specific, but I'm trying to find a full retail version of Windows 7 Pro - the boxed one, not a key, nor OEM - and most sellers on eBay want outrageous prices for it. Even used. I want it so I can make my computer dual-boot and play games that won't run on Windows 7 with my XP Pro.

So if anyone knows where I could get one - or if anyone HAS it for cheap - send me a PM.

You lost me there. Did you mean W8 Pro instead of XP Pro? :bouncy:

Anyways just a heads up, some games won't install in W8 but will under W7 because the game is NOT compatible with the W8 desktop. It doesn't happen a lot but I have a handful of games that won't run in W8.

With that out of the way, is there a reason why you want Retail over OEM? I purchased a couple of Win 8 Pro upgrade licenses from MS for $15. :applause:

I have no interest in Windows 8 whatsoever. And that's the nicest way I can think of saying that without getting a mod involved. :p

I already have a Windows XP Pro retail version - I had it installed, and then I used the Windows 7 Upgrade, which made me lose Windows XP. I want a Windows 7 Retail so I can dual boot Windows 7 (for most tasks) and Windows XP (for the few games that refuse to work on 7).

And I don't like OEM versions, period. The license is different from full retail and I'm not sure if I can even use it more than once without it being tied to a motherboard or something like that.
