Wireless card?

Sup all!

I've got a D-Link Airplus DWL-G630 wireless card to connect onto wireless network (mainly campus and at home).... But I seem to be disatisfied with it...

For some reason, the signal strenght it picks up is rather weak. On certain locations, it can't seem to pick up anything at all where as I see other people enjoying their built-in wireless adapter. Other days, I can pick-up a faint signal if I choose to stay at specific locations.... Even when not on campus, I can't say I can rely on this card to even pick-up my neighboor wireless network! Others can do it then why can't I?

So any suggestions on a new wireless card I could get my hands on and finally enjoy wireless connection? Cheap price too if possible hehe

Looking for the same thing as the OP for my crap Compaq Presario. Using it just for the internet because it can't be used for much of anything else.
