Won a contest on Twitter - didn't respond and my prize was forfeited

Of course reputable places would be legit. I won quite a few things from UGO/1UP when they had Twitter giveaways.
 
I won a contest on twitter from a guy who posted about his contest on CAG, and then when they sent me the dlc codes i won, they were UK codes that wouldn't work with my copy of the game, and the Guy basically told me better luck next time when I contacted him about it. Isn't that great?
 
I won some skateboard wheels from a magazines website......in 2006. Didnt even know until I Googled my name at work one day.....in 2010. I figured id give it a shot and emailed them, the guy responded and let me pick any set of wheels from their site and they mailed them to me!
 
I won a poster from the Aquabats in 2008 but didn't notice because that happened right in the middle of when I worked at Epic and was in hardcore crunch for Gears of War 2. When I got around to emailing them later, I got no response - which seems odd for a band that is so fan oriented. I'm guess someone else responded claiming to be me and took the prize, I don't know.
