Would be a good bundle for an 8-year-olds birthday... those are the games he/she would be most interested in anyways. Damn, I never got gifts over $50, but lots of kids get stuff like this all the time... Dell knows it, so here's the bundle.

Replace Tony Hawk with Avitar and then and only then do you have the worst bundle ever. Tony Hawk isn't that bad, maybe not worth $50, but it isn't a bad game. Someone rated the bundle 5 stars, what a fucking idiot, lol.

Actually, Cars isn't too bad either. My son is playing it right now. I definitely got my money's worth out of it. Of course, I got it in a trade here on CAG using 2 Kmart clearance games + some additional cash. My total cost was less than $20. Ice Age 2 my son is getting for his birthday today. I got that sealed but sold as used at GC (someone traded it in that way) when they had the 20% off used game promo so it cost $32 (but in GC credit so actual cost to me about $16). That's a little more than I'd like to spend, but with my son's birthday coming up so soon I thought it would be a nice surprise (he isn't expecting it at all). Plus, I'm so sick of him playing Cars I'd like to see something else on the Wii for a change ;).

BTW, my son just turned 7, so this fits in with captmurphy's theory. Still, though, I'd never pay $50 for these things, that's for sure. The Wii is not THAT hard to find that you'd need to resort to this bundle. Ant Bully and Barnyard are significantly worse games that I would only get for less than $10. And Tony Hawk is worth no more than $15 to me.

But, yeah, this makes the Fry's bundle that was available for an entire day last week (they sold the last one at 8:10 pm) seem like a much better deal. It was $400 and included Elebits, Super Swing Golf, and Super Monkey Ball. I benefitted from that one as 3 people traded in those 3 games at the nearby GC and I picked up Super Swing Golf for just $28 (like Ice Age 2, new/sealed, but sold as used with 20% off discount). I would definitely have snagged Elebits as well (would have been $36 probably) but I already have that. Monkey Ball sucks (rented it).

I;m sure as hell not going to buy a wii system bundled with wii sports.
I will wait for a good game to get bundled with the system.
