my saved file for Pokemon diamond erased i had the manaphy event on there all legend over 7 lvl 100 and over 150 hours into it and it was all hard work what to do now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to a hospital with sick and terminally ill children in it. Then come back here and let us know if that changed your mind any.
 
sorry for your loss i guess, but worst thing ever? i am guessing you can't be very old if the worst thing ever is losing your pokemon save file. while it may have taken some time and effort, it is just a game that you can start over. at least you didn't total a $15,000 vehicle without insurance (not that i did this, just an example). perhaps losing a job, getting all of your stuff stolen, getting shot, etc.

Give the OP a break. This is a gaming forum, not an orphanage forum. As far as gaming goes, this is the worst thing to ever happen to spongebobgangster. We all know you assclowns would be posting the same thing if it happened to you.

That doesn't sound so bad. I mean, my save file is still OK. So what's the problem?

That doesn't really count, it's a given that a 360 will die. Nintendo products on the other hand are usually reliable so you don't expect problems.

Personally, I'd say that if I've put 150 hours into a game, that's a sign it's time to move on to a new game.
 
You ever hear of a blessing in disguise? Like getting hit in the nuts by a fastball and finding out you have prostate cancer at the ER visit. This is one of those times.

I put over 300 hours into my Pokemon Pearl game, which I haven't played in months, and I'd be sick if the save file disappeared.

I feel for you OP, but I don't know of any way to recover everything other than using a cheating device to restore what you had. But of course that would still feel shallow.

I just recently sold my Pokemon Ruby game (over 300 hours in that one too). I have the newer games, I already transfered all my favorite Pokemon, and I haven't played that game in years. Still I almost wanted to just refund the money and keep it.

When you spend that much time with a game you get a little attached.
 
Well, something good did come out of it, spongebob -- you gave all these assholes a chance to feel superior to someone on the internet. I'm not a pokemon player myself, but I feel ya -- that really, really sucks. I get pissed off when I die a long way from a save point in a normal game, and that doesn't even involve any real work to recover from. Sorry to hear it, dude.
 
The OP needs to read that one thread around here that talks about everyone's GB/GBA battery dying around last year for some Pokemon game... it was sad and funny at the same time. Anyone know where that link is?

Not that there's anything wrong with that. OP, you really should have posted this in the Pokemon thread instead creating your own. You would've actually gotten sympathy instead of all this snark.
 
That reminds me of the time when Pokemon Yellow came out. I'd beaten the game, gotten some of my characters to LV99, and I even got a Mew from that Toys R Us promotion. My younger cousin started a new game and accidentally saved over my file. At the time, it really sucked. I was a lot younger then, but I was still really upset, so I can sort of feel your pain. Sorry to hear what happened to you!

good news guys i found a way to fix it i just kept turning on and off and wiped off the dust and its back thanks for the support guys
