I know the 360 isn't exactly popular in Japan but I have a japanese system that I mainly bought to play the disappointing remake Super Robot Wars XO (Well disappointing for a SRW anyway) and I'm looking to get some value out of the darned thing.

So are there any decent Japan only 360 games I can get by on with a VERY limited knowledge of japanese?

I prefer RPG/Strategy games though I'll take any suggestions. I realize RPGs are often not very import friendly with limited knowledge of the language, but if the inventory is done so I can figure out what equipment is better without too much trouble, I'm usually ok. I've played through enough RPGs that getting the gist of the plot isn't often an issue.

out of curiosity how are you playing a japanese Xbox? Isn't a different format and voltage than American?

Technically Yes and No...

The ports on the back of all Xbox 360s regardless of region are all the same, its the cables/PSUs that are different. You can just use a US Xbox's cables/PSUs on any of the regions (US, PAL, Asia) to get that console to work in our power and on our TVs.
OK I was just curious because I was wondering about taking a US Xbox to Europe.
If you can get PAL TV Cables (unless you are using HDMI which is universal) and a PAL PSU you will be able to use your US 360. Just remember NOT all games are REGION FREE so some PAL 360 games may not work on your US 360.

What? That comment was worthless.

Anyways, I've heard Way of the Samurai III is a awesome JRPG. There are a lot of insanely fun scrolling shooters / shoot em' ups if your into that.

Oh is it? Had no idea. Game looks kinda fun so I might have to look into it.

Japenese games are directed towards a very niche market. I know there are a lot of sims and scrolling shooters, and I'm sure there are a ton of RPGs, I just don't know any.
