Let's see...four old hard-to-find cartridge games, some of which can go for upward of $30 a piece...for one just-released easy-to-find disc game that can be found for $25-30

Sounds like a great trade to me!
 
Sorry to hijak your thread, but would someone trade me their copies of Chrono trigger and Final Fantasy four for my PS1 copy of Final Fantasy Chronicles? Heck Ill even do it for Chrono Trigger.

Hmm my complete, mint Chrono Trigger for a game that sells for 15-20? Awesome,sign me up.
Honestly this is the stupidest thread ever. No one is going to do anything like this. Why would they? You are asking for games that are no longer in retail, in trade for games that are.

I would gladly trade anyone my new copy of Midway's Arcade Treasures (PS2) for the original arcade versions of Rampage, Paperboy, Spyhunter (sit-down), Gauntlet, Smash TV, and Roadblasters (sit-down).

Nice try, but not funny.

The deal doesn't seem too bad to me, within the next week or so all 6 of the cartridges will drop in value anywhere between %80 to %20 much like all those "rare" FF's and CT. The demand for them drops to the point where the only people looking for them would be dumb ass collectors (such as my cosin).

case-in-point: Final Fantasy (the NES original) went for like $50, but can now easily be had for less than $20 now that FFO came out.
 
the carts have dropped in value. check ebay if you dont believe me, they are ALL 5-10 now. that being said i was considering trading my megaman 2 whenever i get the collection, however, i dont think ill be able to part with it, its my fav game in the series and is just so damn good!

How about I reverse the trade and give you a MM collection for all 5 of the NES games...would YOU do it?

I think it's fair to say you wouldnt and that this trade is about as fair as a fight between Mike Tyson and I.

Sorry to crap thread but you are asking people to be ripped off. Maybe for 2-3 of the games MAx for the MM collection but for all 5? No way.

Even so, the six carts would have to fall to $5 each for the trade to be even remotely fair. It's not worth it...and I pity the poor soul who would be dumb enough to go for it.
