I'm too cheap to buy VJ2 (PS2) for 10 bucks, so could I PM EB's price at BB and then use a $5 off PS2 coupon to get the game for $3.99 + tax? Anyone tried this? Thanks.

I would *think* they would only let you do one, PM or coupon, but I'm not sure. Most coupons say 'not valid with any other offer', and I would think a price match counts as another offer.

I just assumed PMing was more of a standard policy than an offer, but I suppose you may be right.

I've had them let me use a coupon on top of a PM once, but I've also been denied on two other occasions (all at the same BB) so it's YMMV.

Also it wouldn't be $4+tax, it'd be $5+tax. You don't get the extra 10% at Best Buy unless you are presenting a receipt from a prior purchase to PM. So there's no way to use a coupon on top of the PM and get the 10% extra that I can think of.

Thanks, just noticed that on the website. Still, I like $5 more than 10 or 15.

i had a similar experience with bb. i was able to pm and use the ggc for kotor and far cry, but i was shot down on a different occasion with halo and another game that i can't remember at the moment. g'luck op!
