Okay say you hear on the news
PERSON A has 60% of the vote
Person B has 38% of the vote
what they dont tell you on the news though they over sampled people who would vote for A in the first place
so you have PERSON 1 who loves A and Person 2 who loves B
they both see the news and see that person A is winning
Person 1 could say , well since my person has a 20 pt lead there is no reason for me to vote
Person 2 could say.. well im going to go out and work harder to get my person to win
in truth they over sampled A by 25 points and it would of been
Person A 35
person b 38
but since the news did not tell you that the polls were wrong and Person B wins
LONG STORY SHORT Does anyone really care what the poles say cause im pretty sure most people dont care what a poll says (its not going to change your vote so why do they keep showing them on every freaking newscast ... its mostly the local races that are driving me nuts
like i need to see the poll every freaking night
