Wow my EBgames order came fast!

Ordered a bunch of stuff from ebgames.com (thanks to Ackbar's post) yesterday and it got to my place today. (Shipped Fedex even though I used SAVER)

However they sent me a crap 3rd party DC controller instead of the 1st party one I ordered. So that sucks. Guess I'll have to go to the local EB at some point this weekend and see if they have any I can exchange for.

The same thing happened to me. I ordered before noon yesterday and it arrived today before 1.

Wow, whenever I've ordered from EB it took at least the normal time, and usually longer.

Yeah I've made a lot of orders with them over the past year+ (all with SAVER I think) and before today they've all shipped Media Mail and taken somewhere around a week to arrive. Maybe this one didn't go Media because I had hardware in the order as well? (But I think they've shipped GB games to me Media Mail, so mail fraud hasn't seemed to concern them in the past. )

But! One of the games I got turned out to not work as well. Robotech Battlecry actually has a fan of cracks in the disc. It seemed to be inside the layers so I gave it a try (although I was a bit nervous about doing that) But it wouldn't load on my Xbox.

First disc game I've ordered from them that wouldn't work. I have gotten a few cart (GB) games with dead batteries from them in the past.

I'm just glad this order was from EB and not GS so I can do an in store return.

ebgames.com shipping has been suck to me. I usually get the game from 2-3 weeks.
