CML -- I've got a few of the Dreamcast games you want and some others.... not sure what you'd be willing to pay but yeah... PM me.

I know, I'm just saying that once you get one...

Oh yah, in case you're interested, you can grab one from ebgames.com for $20 which isn't too bad.

That's a question I have as well, as I have a DC from around 2001 (which would make me think it's not a Rev 1), two Sega VMU's (white), one Sega controller (white), one MadCatz 3rd party controller (with a busted D-pad, which I think is just the D-pad being broken off the shaft), and the following games from your list:

Chu Chu Rocket
Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi 2
Fur Fighters
Jet Grind Radio
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
Maken X
MDK2
Shenmue
Sonic Adventure
Soul Calibur
Tech Romancer
Toy Commander
Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram

I have other games not on your list, as well. The DC worked last time I checked it, and I'd have to double-check it for sure. All games are good complete or better.
how can you tell if it is a revision 1? i have a dreamcast from near launch...
Check the bottom of the sticker(which at the bottom of the console), above the Sega Corporation words and to the left of the NTSC logo. There is a circle with a number in it, if it's a 1, that's what he's looking for(a revision 1).

What makes the DC Rev 1 more desireable than later revisions?

The only thing I could think of is for emulation purposes?

SMM hit it right on the head. Thanks for posting the pic for me, too.

And Shrike, if you can give me a reasonable price on those games, and I can score a DC from someone else, I'd be more than interested in adding to your mountain of feedback.

As I said in my PM, I'll let you know this evening with a price on the games + VMU's, and check my DC for the Rev #.

New info: I know someone with a Rev 1, and I might work it out that he sells you his and he buys mine, so you end up with your Rev 1, and the other guy still keeps his DC.

Link doesn't work. Anyone have a pic they can post?

You have to copy and paste it to get it to work. I put a smaller version in my photobucket account for ya:

From what SMM mentioned, the 1 is the important thing to look for, and I'll check when I get home from work.
