Just like the title says, I am interested in purchasing a HDloader. If I don't find a deal on here I'll probably just end up purchasing it online. I would be paying via fund transfer on paypal, PM me a price shipped quote, thanks.

If you end up purchasing a HD loader, I recommend getting the HD ADVANCE instead of HDLOADER. That one has more features.

I've also heard it is a bit buggier though, that not the case? What other features in 2.0 besides support for larger hard drives? (I plan to install a 120 GB so that is not an issue)

Since you plan on using a 120gb drive, stick with HD Loader. It is less buggy, more convenient (HD Advance uses 2 discs, one for CD based games and one for DVD games), and HD Advance is kind of a rip off of HD Loader, so support the original stuff. Just get it from consolesource.com They're a reliable site, bought from them twice. The HD Loader is worth every penny.

I got a HDadvance for christmas, even though I ordered a HDloader from the site... what geniuses, eh? Anyway, I think the HDadvance is a bit better choice, simply because of the out-of-the-box 120+ GB support. It is possible to achieve the over-120 GB status in the HDloader, but you must modify it via memory card, somehow. No chance of getting mine, so bump-a-roo :D

HDAdvance 2.0 is a ripped off version of the free, patched version of HDLoader (Have to put it on your memory card for it to work, however). It's the same source code and everything with a different skin. But, since you are looking to BUY, I would have to go with the HDAdvance 2.0 as dirty as that makes me feel since it has the patched 48 bit LBA in it, thus, allowing it to read the full space of any hard drive over 137 gigs.

eh the only reason I prefer the 2 discs of the HDAdvance 2.0 is it means I can run 2 HD machines, secondly I've tried the hdl lba 48 bit memory card exploit...but for some strange reason after loading the drive with more than 127gb the exploit won't load to the menu thus defeating the purpose of the exploit, but then I might've screwed up the install.

as for differences...supposedly you can install backup games onto the drive...where as the hd loader can't

joy...order not recieved by consolesource.com but payment went through just fine . Now I get to tangle with their customer service *sigh*.

i got my hdl from them. it took a couple of weeks cause they were "out of stock waiting for restock" but it finally came. i wish ps2 had an exploit like xbox; that would be freakin fabtabulous.

is this for running games off a HDD for the ps2? i'm assuming that would dramatically increase load times and burnout 3 would be much more enjoyable on the ps2 then. how does this work?
