The only remaster I want is the Mass Effect trilogy. I really think the games would benefit from a remaster, too.

Sounds like I'll just skip Oceanhorn.  I want a GREAT Zelda clone.  Not decent.

Also, might skip Sniper Elite 3 even though the price is solid.  I realized I bought ZAT a few weeks ago when it was on sale and thought I'd boot it up and see if I still dig those games.

Turns out I'm very mediocre at sniping (even on cadet).  Also, those hold your ground/defend this point areas against zombie hordes... shit is stressful.

After he started getting better I started seeing all his layers of lies and manipulations, which culminated in my throwing him out and doing the nuclear option on what was left of his life. I'm in a much better place now with him gone, still though, CoD brings up stuff I'd rather not remember. It's been two months and thankfully I have no idea if he's alive or dead.
 
So if I get BLOPS 2, I should be able to play both on my my 360 and One at the same time correct? At least if I use wife's account on one xbox and normal account on the other.

I didn't want to say anything that sounded... insensitive. But since you mentioned he was be deceitful... someone who has "mental health issues" and uses that to a) play copious amounts of CoD and b) control their partner... that screams bullshit to me. I'm glad you're out of that situation.

Thanks. Hence my doing research on him and his behavioral issues...he's a textbook case of a narcissistic abuser, which, because they're so adept at lying, finding weak points, and presenting as whatever you need them to be, I was blind to it through the relationship. But eyes open, live and learn I guess.

Awww now it's not all games I hate. Just CoD's, racers, platformers, most indie titles, and all sports games. I've grown fond of pvz2, the ship vs ship battles are great fun in SW battlefront, and when I get drunk I find titanfall 2 and battlefield 4 kinda fun.

I played a couple hours last night. (It's why the 360 Spring Sale deals didn't get into the OP until about 5am.) Definitely a lot of nostalgia. I wouldn't be surprised if MS / Rare went after them for making the music sound so much like Banjo-Kazooie, Fogerty be damned. Still need to get a better feel for the controls and camera, particularly when you have to roll and turn.

I'm glad I'm not the only Scrooge around here that hates platformers. Sucks that every new indie game that's the darling of reviewers and gamers everywhere turns out to be yet another platformer.

This, a Mass Effect trilogy remaster on XB1 would be insane, all running on frostbite - largely improbable though.

Gems of War, lol, ever since they added events and I joined TA's Guild has been super entertaining.

No way would they port the ME trilogy to Frostbite, it would be way more work than needed for the payoff it would have. Maybe up to Unreal 4 from Unreal 3. I think the dream of an HD port is dead at this point though, with all 3 being BC, and the games not being necessary to Andromeda.

I completed the first one 100%, then went back and played some more when they released the code for the Naboo starfighter after Episode I released. I keep telling myself one day I'll go back and finish Rogue Leader. Only have 1 thing left - playing the 5-6 hours of the last level to get the final Ace medal. Rogue Squadron 3 fell victim to the backlog monster.

 
as a single player are titanfall 2 and battlefield 1 vanilla versions the way to go?

I want any single player dlc but afaik these are mostly multiplayer dlc games?

There won't be any single player DLC for either of them but the superior campaign by far is Titanfall 2's. Battlefield 1 had a nice little campaign but it's broken up into vignettes, small short personal stories that end just as quickly as they started.

They've been in three Forza games now. EA held the license and then just relicensed it as they saw fit.

Played Yooka-Laylee for about 30 min last night. Seems fine. Athough the first couple things you will want to do is lower the camera sensitivity and also decrease the sound effect volume, cuz those "meep meep meep" voice sounds are awful.

It might explain homeboy's behavior but it doesn't excuse it. Unfortunately people in his position (and the people they rope into their BS) don't usually understand the difference.
