Sigh. I did update my email through that link, but the confirmation email still only goes to the dead addy. It doesn't give the option of sending it to my phone either, even though my phone number has long been on the account.
I have had the same problem for years so I finally decided to call support about it 1 week ago, they said to do the remove all security info action. It takes 30 days for it to erase but after that you should be able to select a new email without having to confirm it with your defunct email. I'll let you know when my 30 days are up to see if it worked

Oh my, Spelunky finally got solid release date - 4 July. But they basically send this to die with the price tag of 1200MSP. Shame.
Next week is blood and mw3 content
Blood? As in Bloodrayne and Bloodforge? Or maybe some more GoD discounts like Blood Bowl, Hitman: Blood Money or 007: Bloodstone? :bouncy:
He meant Black Ops, nothing about Blood
Oh well, got my hopes up for nothing, but I was pretty much deluding myself... :)

Back on topic, it really seems that Ms. Splosion Man was taken out from gold offers... what a pity, I planned to grab it for some couch-op tonight... :(
Wish that was The Simpsons Arcade instead of X-Men, I got that the last time it was on sale.
Yeah, would love a sale on Simpsons. I had forgotten it was out on XBLA, probably because I won't pick it up until it drops in price.

Thanks man. Will look forward to hearing how it works out.

Some GoD markdowns/sales, but nothing like the 75% off sale, which is still going on I guess.

Borderlands 1040 ($13.00) 35% off
Mass Effect 1200 ($15.00) 25% off
Crackdown 1200 ($15.00) 25% off
Viva Piñata: TIP 1200 ($15.00) 25% off
Velvet Assassin 1200 ($15.00) 25% off
Viva Piñata 1200 ($15.00) 25% off

Honestly, based on how much you could get a retail copy of each of these, they're still pretty expensive.

I ended up buying Conan and PoP:TFS last night before the sale 'ended'.

So uh, which DoDonPachi is on Games on Demand (though considering they're region locked despite being downloadable, probably won't matter to me), considering there's multiple ones & Major Nelson never stated which game.
Oh my, Spelunky finally got solid release date - 4 July. But they basically send this to die with the price tag of 1200MSP. Shame.
I don't think "sending to die" is 100% accurate, but I agree that 800 is the sweet spot for a game like Spelunky. I would have picked it up for 800, no way I will for 1200.

Ya, sorry about that. Stupid auto-correct. And that's a lot of "blood" titles. LOL

SouthPeak must be scraping together some money for something. Velvet Assassin was just on sale on Steam as well. Of course it was $1.69 over there.

There's so much on sale right now, probably more than has ever been on sale at once before, and much of it is 75% off. I also have a bunch of points expiring on the 30th. It's really frustrating that there's nothing I want to buy in all of that discounted stuff. I guess it's full priced items for me.
I'm probably in for Trine 2 at 600. Will wait for July 1st, like everybody else.
What happens then? I'm missing something :0

@tylerh1701 - i'm not buying it for 1200 either, a lot other people as well. Maybe it won't bomb, but this price tag definitelly will hurt developers.

Yep, i already have all decent stuff on these deals. :(

New Xbox Rewards promo.

And yes, if they can price Fez at 800, why not price Spelunky there as well. I'm disappointed in the price.

I added the DotW and Games on Demand to the OP. I'll add metacritic and quick look links later unless someone else wants to do it in the meantime. I didn't remove any old sales because they all seem to still be active.

Nexuiz for 200 MSP? Purchased. Not a bad price for what looks like a Quake clone with good graphics.
Got halfway through the Trine 2 trailer and purchased it. Dear Lord this is one great looking game...
This and Rayman Origins are the best looking 360 games imo. Trine 2 for 600MSP is a steal. I don't get why some people are still on a fence for this one. 0_0
Got halfway through the Trine 2 trailer and purchased it. Dear Lord this is one great looking game...
Both Trine games are amazing! Shame the first one never made it over to Xbox. But ya, Trine 2 is a blast.
Nexuiz for 200 MSP? Purchased. Not a bad price for what looks like a Quake clone with good graphics.
It may have gameplay similar to Quake 3, but trying to experience that gameplay is a real pain in the ass. I got it for free and love that type of game, but I haven't touched it in months because it was so busted.

200 points for Nexuiz? The game/community must REALLY be struggling. Looks like it's legit, so I'll wait until the 1st to bite on it, Shoot Many Robots, and maybe a few others depending on finances.

X-Men is a decent game with stupidly easy achievements, if you're looking to bump your e-peen.

Ugh I am really torn about this week.
Gotham City Impostors 800
Nexuiz 200
Shoot Many Robots 400

I have just under 7000MSP so I can afford all of those, but I don't want to waste points on things just because they are cheap, but isn't that the true plight of a CAG anyway?

I think I am going to get Shoot Many Robots, but I am torn between GCI and Nexiuz. Nexiuz is a lot cheaper but I think I would enjoy GCI more. Anyone care to help me with this? :D

If it was me I would:

Buy SMR
Buy Nexuiz
Pass on GCI

Sure, GCI is probably the best one there. But it's also the most expensive by far, and it's just MP shooter. Those, no matter how awesome, always tend to die out sooner or later.

Is the Gotham community still alive? When the game was new-ish a bunch of people on my friend list were playing, but now nobody does.

Also tempted by Trine 2, even though the first game couldn't hold my interest. How is the multiplayer?

Well, Nexuiz is MP only, SMR should be played in co-op, because sp is soooo boring - last time i was trying to find people no one played it...

In other hand GCI community is still active.

Ugh this is a tough choice. I can spend 200 points and get a game that I may not play/may die out. Or I can spend 800 points that I think I'll enjoy but may die out since it's a multiplayer game and those do die out. Or I can just get SMR and call it a day...ugh choices!

I own SMR on PS3 but haven't tried it yet, is it really that bad in solo?

And I only say I'd get Nexuiz because I don't really ever pass up $2.50 games.

Gotham City Impostors is also included free with copies of Batman: Arkham City: GOTY Edition at Walmart.

Mass Effect and Viva Pinata: TIP are pretty good buys out of those.

Used prices for those at GameStop:

Borderlands - $19.99 (GOTY edition is $23.99 new, $21.99 used)
Mass Effect - $29.99
Crackdown - $2.99
Viva Pinata: TIP - $24.99
Velvet Assassin - $9.99 ($14.99 new)
Viva Pinata - $9.99

Not bad, but i have little to no fun playing alone. My second run with 2 friends was much better. ;)

I added the COD DLC Sale coming next week to the OP as well, still needs a few links if anyone feels like doing it.

Also, I've added a "Deals Graveyard" section at the bottom of the page (approved by ReddJoey). If removing items from the OP, please paste them here behind a spoiler tag, that way ReddJoey can make sure to catch everything when he updates his 2012 XBL Sales list which is kept in the 3rd post.

$15.89 on Amazon/FSSS as well, if anyone would rather pick it up there.

I think I'll buy it (from Newegg with ShopRunner), for me it's basically $4 each for Super Puzzle Figther, Wolf, Rocketmen, and 1942. I own the other 4 games.

Thanks.

wow my hard drive is gonna be in trouble....gonna get SMR, worms armageddon (if anyone wants to play those add me), and i've been wanting borderlands and mass effect GOD to go on sale because borderlands is the kind of game i like to play for 30 minutes here and there, perfect game to have on the HD because of that. so if i sell my GOTY edition i'll still have the DLC and itll probably cover the cost of the god version i'm sure. and with mass effect, again, i play the game so much i'd rather be able to just launch it and ebay my disc copy. great sale.

actually wait. borderlands 2 comes out in a few months. which means 1 might be irrelevant to me then. hm. might actually pass on that since i doubt i'll have any reason to ever play 1 again once 2 comes out.

On PS3, the Gotham City Impostors community died fairly quickly. I had it at launch and it was very fun, but within a couple of weeks it was taking me 10-15 minutes just to get into a game and when I did get into a game, it was full of high level players who used the cheapest exploits to win.

Whoa, Nexuiz is only 200 MSP? That game must have tanked in sales. I've heard nothing but bad things about it, but I honestly can't pass up that new of a game for just 200 points. I wish we'd see more games hit that magical price point. 600 is iffy for me, 400 is almost a definite purchase, and 200 is an instabuy.
Does anyone still play Gotham city Imposters?
Yes. I have a weekly GCI session w/ a group of friends. And we tend to play GCI outside our scheduled sessions as well. I haven't been playing as much lately since I'm working through my backlog, but every time I'm online, I always see a couple of friends playing.
On PS3, the Gotham City Impostors community died fairly quickly.
There's a pretty healthy GCI community on 360. We hardly ever have to wait to get in a match. I don't recall, even recently, having any trouble finding a match at any time, day or night.

Mass Effect is $19.99 new so that $29.99 is just absurd. And even still for a game that came out in 2007, $15 on sale isn't that good.

I didn't see new copies of ME available on GameStop's website, but they are on Amazon for $19.99. You're right, maybe not as good of a deal. But I'm a little biased in favor of fairly-priced Games on Demand titles, so I'd still take a $15 digital copy over a $20 new physical copy every time.

Has anyone won on the scratch and win game? Its on the new Xbox app called sales and specials app+. Wondering what the prize is. Also gives you some more offers on sales. Has a chain reaction part. Which is you buy one offer and you unlock the next offer.

Is it available to download on US Xbox's? I was under the assumption it wasn't out yet.
