I did not know it had multiplayer. Unless the demo is weak this is a definite sale for me. I am always on the look out for games to play with my children.

What the hell?

PEOPLE, YOU MUST WANT TO WANT THIS GAME. AT LEAST POST HERE AND LIE ABOUT IT TO MAKE ME FEEL HAPPY

The co-op appeals to me...my little sis liked the first, I enjoyed it as well. I'll see how the co-op goes, hopefully the demo has it available.

I know people think 10 dollars is too much for Feeding Frenzy 2, but just note that it's available at Yahoo! Games for 20 bucks. And considering its 5,737 reviews, I think it's safe to say a lot of people found it attractive at 20 bucks. Putting things in perspective, I think 800 points/10 dollars is fair. There are mobile games out there for 10 dollars that don't offer multiplayer modes or achievements. ;)

So with this reasoning we should purchase pretty much every arcade game.

XBLA is quite a double edged sword, eh? Almost every game on it, that has a replication somewhere else, is cheaper on live than it is anywhere else. Not to mention with live you get superior versions most of the time, such as Dig-Dug on Wii, from the NES, being $6.00 on VC, but yet, we get arcade perfection for $5.00, with leaderboards (Global Arcade High Score charts! WEWT!).

We get games that never would have gotten a green light to go disk in the modern day era, or old classics for cheap prices, or new classics for less than game rentals, or movie ticket prices. Yet we still very often hear complaints of feeling "ripped off".

The only way I'll end up trying Feeding Frenzy 1 is probably through the Arcade Pack-in disk, used from Gamestop. I still need Pacman CE, and getting "free" games with it will be awesome! XD I probably woulda tried it, if not for my interest in it being around the time of "Arcade trials stick to your gamercard". Due to that, I just kinda... figured I had enough wasted space on my GC from games I never ended up buying...

I can't see 2 as being fun for me yet, but I hope everyone that's been looking forward to it finds it as awesome as they're expecting! It sounds like it lacks online, but makes up for it with same-console quality.

Well, Target has the "Pop Cap Arcade v 1" on clearance. It's been seen for a little as 5 bucks and includes FF1, Zuma, AstroPop, and Bejeweled 2 if any of those interest you. (I picked one up yesterday)

FF1 comes with that too, eh? Sounds like it comes with everything, then! XD
That is a good point though, thanks for bringing it up!

wow that was outta no where. I will buy this the wife loved the first I got it on a arcade disc now ^_^ first day for me

Prime funny pic bottom right should caption it and have it say "Ssssh im hunting wabbits"

It is not my style of game, but my wife probably will like it...so I'll be sure to never tell her about is so I don't have to share my 360 with her.

Played the demo, bought the game.
It's actually better than the first. I only played 2 levels, but the second level is awesome. Being able to swim up & jump out of the water and eat bugs AND do tricks?! = WIN.

Can't wait to try out the co-op and see what these party games are about. :whistle2:k

I played through the demo on single player and it was OK. I then played it with my 3-year old and we had a blast. My daughter loved it, plus she was able to swim around having fun and still get a feel for the game. There is a common growth bar so both players fish grow larger at the same time. That is great for her as she has problems eating the fish (seem faster in this version). This is now a definite buy. Games that small children can play with their parents/siblings/friends are not that common on the Xbox 360 - I am excited when I can game with my 3-year old.

Ok to me, this is "simple" gaming done right... approachable, easy to figure out just by looking at it, and the audio and visual style really work for the whole package. And a seemingly meaty demo!

I think you just sold me. My daughter(4 yr. old) likes the original but she swims a bit before giving in and wants me to make her big. This sounds like a great improvement. Co-op to boot!

Well I was thinking this one would be pointless - I have the first, but I only got it because my gf liked it and the 800 points I spent on it were free. But after playing through the whole demo...I think I'm sold. I'll play it co-op with my gf and then probably buy it for that and the variety.

For those who haven't played the whole demo - in level 2 there's the new ability to jump out of the water, which lilboo mentioned and is awesome, but there's another new thing in level 4 where the entire screen except for a small circle around you is dark and you have to eat little flower-looking ball things to temporarily light up a larger circle or eat lightbulbs to light up the entire screen. It was pretty awesome too.

I wasn't thinking it would be worth $10, but with the new gameplay additions and the multiplayer I'll probably be getting it.
