I've been hunting for a cheap 360 for a friend of mine.. I found one without a hard drive! I have a 20gb one myself. I've wanted to upgrade and I can't see spending the money on a 20gb for him when I could buy a 120gb one and give him mine.
Soo.. I'm looking for the BEST way to get a 120gb hard drive..
I would Prefer to get the transfer cable too but thats not a huge deal.. I know that there are CAGs with one been shipped around for people to use but I am a CAG Newb so I do not apply.
I've been thinking on how to do this..
I see a bunch of "refurbished" Xbox 360 elites on ebay for between $220-230. I know the hard drive itself is going to cost me around $100..
Do you think I should get one of these refurbished Elites, keep the controller/hard drive and sell the rest? (I do sell a lot of stuff on ebay so that wouldn't be a problem)
Another option I've thought of.. Is I really really want the Red Elite thats coming out. I am employed at walmart so I would get the discount. This would probably be my favorite option.
Basically - If anyone knows a deal for a real cheap 120gb hard drive - Info would be great! I would appreciate it very much and I would do that pending on if the deal was good enough..
But I'm also looking for advice! So Advise away
