Just recently bought an XBbox 360 for the first time, and been looking for some rechargeable batteries for the controllers. I stumbled upon this deal over at SD 2 days ago, but the thing was out of stock. Insomnia struck and while surfing the web stumbled upon this in stock! For those of you that recently bought new XBox 360's through Dell or other places and need a rechargeable battery setup, this seems pretty cool. You can the charging station into a wall socket instead of a USB port (which the conventional charge and play kits seem to require), and this thing comes with 2 batteries!

I ordered 4 sets of them (1 for each controller, I have folks over for multiplay alot), and the shipping came out to 8.36 for all of them. Hope someone else finds this to be useful!

What the hell, I'm in for one. It came out to $15.90 with shipping, but that's still about $8 cheaper than Amazon or anywhere else I could find it, and a lot cheaper than the microsoft station.

So to those wondering, it IS in stock.

Saw this a couple of days ago. After reading the reviews on Amazon, it seems like a huge pos. I'd read the reviews before jumping on it if I were you guys. I've had the regular Microsoft Quick Charge Kit with 4 battery packs that I swap back and forth. I've never had a problem and couldn't think of a reason to try something else instead.

I read the reviews on Amazon, and most of the bad reviews came from when it was released and the batteries were too large. From what I've read, they've fixed that problem. Also, one of the 1 star reviews was from a guy talking about power differences between Europe and the US, another one star was talking about how he couldn't get his to charge at all, which is a known issue in that you have to give the batteries a bit of kick start in some rare cases with a play and charge kit, which I have, so it's a non issue for me. All of the other low reviews complained about the size, which again is supposedly fixed now. So if you take all of those erroneous bad reviews out it scores much higher.
