I've done that before and followed up on the code a bit later and it wasnt used - I mean I suppose they were waiting to use it...but when its a redeemable piece of content - you'd expect it to be redeemed within a day or so - not 2 days later and still nothing.. I suppose at least this way, its been redeemed - not saved and resold or traded for something...

Just put codes in email links. I'm sure that still works, since I've done it recently, and a registered member has to be logged in to quote your message and see it.
