• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2025. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Not really? No real restrictions on store credit I think, definitely not on consoles, games, accessories, or "merch". I'm not sure on gift cards.

No real need to have both an X and an S unless you play in two different places often or want to use one for developer mode emulation.

Click the gear at the top and go to control panel. Doing the game M-Th and the final game on Thursday after the last daily has a chance at $5-20 but may be more ARP which you spend in the marketplace. You can buy Dell gift cards there. Daily points for watching Twitch streams and playing games on steam if you want. Just logging on every day and checking out the daily game is enough to make decent bank. The gift cards restock twice a year, so ARP only goes so far.

If pirates see success, yeah there will definitely be a huge counterfeit ring around this because it's far too easy to wipe a cart and flash it with an expensive rom and slap a sticker on it. Trying to talk to multiple people at Dell about this. They all seem to think the only way you earn Dell Dollars is from buying something. They know nothing about Alienware Arena and keep arguing with me asking what purchase I earned these points / dollars. Got disconnected from one person and absolutely nowhere with another. They don’t seem to know who to transfer someone to who actually runs the rewards program.

Dell rewards has been always been super finicky getting your order to go through unfortunately. I've had better luck as of late though, there support however is about useless in my experience. I don't know if this has anything to do with why they've worked better for me lately but I have been going to dell rewards balance and clicking the blue button that says redeem points and it lets you convert points to dell dollars. My last two transactions doing that have gone through without a hitch.

It’s Dell’s reward program via alienwarearena.

It’s popular with us kool kids because it requires minimal effort and rewards can compound on each other nicely over a few months.

This week, they were just 600 points , $6 dollars , just for clicking on a tab everyday for 5 days, easy $30 . Logging in and engaging in simple tasks everyday can lead to $20-50 every few months from a few minutes worth of time.

And it’s not currently active but last year they were giving $30 a month just for logging i n everyday.

Nintendo is probably the closest to hitting that number regularly, Pokemon, 2D Mario, mainline Zelda, and maybe Splatoon. Elden Ring hit 12 million in 2 weeks. We've got to remember how massive China's population is, literally 10 times the size of Japan. Doing well there alone could essentially eclipse the rest of the world combined. If the 88% estimate is close, then they sold around 1.5 million copies worldwide, which would be a moderate success for a new IP.

I'm not dumping on those games, but both China and Korea have a lot of ground to cover to come close the influence Japanese game have worldwide. I suspect China will follow what their film industry is doing, pretty much only targeting the domestic audience with localized versions being treated as an afterthought.

Korean games are what I'm more interested in personally as long as they're moving past the MMO and Gacha focus finally, but so far I'd only really put Stellar Blade in that category. Definitely will be skeptical of Crimson Blade until it's out becuase of publisher. Stellar Blade is pretty sold but it didn't sell crazy well.

I’m debating getting a video card to use up my Dell bucks + AMEX offer but the RTX 5000 isn’t too far away. Oof. Well, I may just get myself a Velocity Green controller if I can price match it with Walmart/Amazon whenever it goes back in stock for $44.

I’m also thinking about using it on a Series S (comes with a $50 gc) so I can trade in my current one in exchange for some Steam credit.

The other item I'm looking at is the Alienware AW3423DWF which I could've gotten last year (IYKYK) so it feels a little bad to decide almost a year later to pick one up.

I used xbox rewards credit to get return to moria. Haven't looked too much in to it but think it would be something my girlfriend and I would enjoy together.

Still working on horizon 4. All I have left for achievements are 6 all based on eliminator. Only one that may be tough is winning without getting car drops. Think I'll be satisfied and have had my fun with just all achievements, would be way too much to get in game 100%.

Yes there's an Alienware Arena app you can get for your phone but it's basically just the mobile version of the website.

Those of you who have made private orders on GameFlip, is there like a proper etiquette to it? Do you just request games and let them tell you the price, or do you make an offer as well?

I'd like to get the Cowabunga Collection (which is like $4 in ARS), Double Dragon Gaiden ($4 ARS) and F.I.S.T. ($1.75 ARS), but don't want to pay the now inflated prices on there.

Is it bad form to ask for a private sale and offer a set price for them?

Never ever try and purchase something from Dell with multiple currencies. Every single time it will up (unless you pre-emptively get a CSR to make you a link which i previously stated). Their system will charge you the entire amount on your cc and try to backend the credits for some reason and it never works. So you get charged the full price and you also lose your credit. I've gone through it twice already.

I am having the worst week with technology lol first regular controller started drifting. My elite controller now decided it's time to separate at the bottom and I killed my Raycon Sport by falling off bike and somehow managed to run over them......FML lol and I'm done with elite controllers.....awful build quality (like 8 months) that.

At this point I really consider why do I bother lol this was first time on console in a month. Been slow month for me gaming wise but all of it was PC.

I've had my Elite 2 for less than a month. It has severe stick drift on the left stick out of the box. It's amazing that people keep buying this shit. Hurray Dell Rewards for free broken things!
