TRU. I got an older package (still works with 360). It included Crimson Skies:High Road To Revenge- a good game and one that is BC with the 360. I got that for $30. Just look around at your trus.
Hey, so I just read the post and I was always wondering if the old Xbox Live cards work for the 360, so someone can confirm it works or it's confirmed by MS.
Like said, TRU has the 12 month starter kits for 29.98, and the 3 month kits for 9.98. My store has one 12 month left (picking it up on payday, with 20% off and associate discount ) and about 6 of the 3 month kits.
Trial cards or 2 month cards have an expiration read the fine print. As for the "old" cards My account has 15 more months on it and both cards were the old cards, I have yet to buy a card for my 360. They work but only if you put the code into your 360, if you don't than they won't work pretty simple really
So they do work? Our TRU has 3 month and 12 month Original XBox cards that come with either Joust Arcade, Bankshot 2, or Crimson Skies) on clearance, and there's quite a few left.
Can someone confirm how the old cards work with the 360?
I was told that I couldn't use the XBL 3-month card that I have because I didn't have my current account on an original Xbox.
Thanks.
You can not use an old card on a 360...they can only be used on old xboxes...but you can set up an account on old xbox and then migrate that account onto a 360 gold account for the same level of time (ie, if you have 11 months left of live on your old xbox, you can move that into 11 months of live 360 Gold level.) If you only have a 360, you need a 360 card.
There are tons of people selling Xbox Live subscriptions on E-bay. Here is one that I have personally dealt with : His user name is buy and he has an E-bay store called Buy's Internet Superstore. He has over 250,000 feedback with 99.6% positive. He charges 38.98 for a 12 month Gold membership. I don't think he's the cheapest, but he has tons of them and you probably won't get screwed.
