xbox live 35.99 amazon good deal

So I got my bro0in0law wireless connection for xbox live he don't play much games but he has new halo, assains creed, and madden for xbox for online. amazon gots the xbox live for 35.99 on sale i don't know if this is a good deal or not. I'm a playstation guy were its free online not really sure how xbox live works blah blah blah. is this a good deal or not though. don't know if i should get it or not. his birthday is late march i don't know if its going to go on sale again.

Typically a year of xbox live is 59.99. As far as I know 35.99 is a pretty good deal. Doubt you can find it for much cheaper. I think once I've seen it for 30.00.
