Hey guys-
I have dialup now (it sucks, i know) , and I'm trying to convince my mom into getting broadband for xbl for the 360 (I'm getting there). I've been looking around a lot and i guess the best deal is verizon. I don't really know the compatible brands for xbl...... So, that's it, this is pretty much a cry for help.

It doesn't really matter what ISP you have, just as long you have decent speed, say 1.5 down stream.

Anywho, you can check http://www.dslreports.com/ for rating of ISPs and what not. In my experience, Verizon isn't that great. Though that might just be my location. In Socal, I would choose Surfcity if you're on a Verizon network, or Sonic.net if you're on an SBC network.

I have comcast and in my experience it has never failed (I am going on 6 years of service). It is pretty expensive though...
