Xbox live problem?

My friend recently purchased an Xbox 360 and joined Xbox live. He has been using an ethernet cord with his MAC to connect the internet. Everything was working pretty fine until his Xbox froze and he unplug the ethernet cord. Now every time when he gonna try to fix network settings its saying the DNS is wrong even though he is using the same information. Can't figure out whats the problem.


Please help to fix this issue.

Weird. Does he have the DNS server address manually typed in?
