Xbox Live Subscription Card expiration?

A few weeks ago, I purchased a few Xbox Live Subscription cards... but just now, I noticed that these cards actually expire. One of the cards I bought says "This subscription card must be redeemed by 06/30/2007."

I haven't opened the card package yet, but I heard that Microsoft did away with the whole expiration thing, and that all unused cards should work... I'm not sure.


I don't have the reciept anymore, is there anything I can do at all?

I added two years to my 360 subscription using the regular XBox Live cards, that work. You should be OK, if not call them and gripe. I doubt you need to call them.
