Its bascially so they dont get someone using 12 of those a year. You basically create an account then get the 1st month free. Its more for people who are going to sign up for netflix anyways not those looking for free stuff.

When i signed up i only got 2 weeks free so this is a good deal.

Also from the looks of it no one is taking any advantage of these
