I have an old Surface pro 2 lying around so I figured to connect it to my tv and make it a steam link. I connect the USB port out to a docking station for NIC, HDMI, etc... When I try to plug in the adapter into a USB in the docking station, I can't get any power for the light. I tried every port and also removing the docking station and plugging the adapter directly to the surface USB port itself. Nothing seems to work unless I use a wired 360 controller. Is there a way to get this adapter working so I can game with an xbone controller instead of a 360 one?
