Instead of having multiple individual threads for each new game announced, we're trying to keep things neat by consolidating everything into individual threads in each console's forum.

I'll do my best to keep the OP updated with everything posted. Please include links to any related articles for the game that you find. Have at it.

Agreed. Have all of the E3 announcement threads in the E3 forum to prevent needless forum hopping.

I never said that, I just suggested a certain field of employment in which I figured you would enjoy.

i think youre over-reacting quite a bit here, sure its a SE title, but its also a crappy mmorpg.

if they got ff12, that would be huge...but this? SE just wants a bigger user base to be able to keep their servers running.

I think you underestimating the importance of SE support especially for an American company. Don't get me wrong, I know it's an old crappy game but it's still support, big news considering SE through away the original Xbox dev kits as soon as they got them.
 
Why would they make FFXI for the Xbox 360? It would make a lot more sense for it to be an Xbox title, considering its graphics are two years old, and if you plan on allowing people to play with others, wouldn't you want the engine to be in line with the other titles?

also it says for Xbox, not Xbox 360, or at least that is the interpretation I get

It won't be on the Xbox it will be the 360 just by comparing how much space it uses on a HDD. On the PS2 HDD it uses 10+ GB of space for FFXI and the two expansion packs.

the stream is real bad on my PC and keeps going in and out. They have not showed anything yet though

Edit: Looks like they killed the feed a second time.. WMP just locked up..

Playing @ 300kb/s (it played fine earlier when it was doing crowd shots)

Uh.. the Microsoft conference.. you know, the guys who make the XBox and XBox 360, which has games coming out for it.. you may have read some of the announced ones in this thread!

Looks like they lowered the quality from 300K to 100K.. looks like ass, screen shrunk.. and still buffering nonstop.
