XXXDEADXXX GameCube Battalion Wars $34.99

Nice, I assume Frys will have it for that price then. But I won't be around when they do, how's outpost with shipping preorder games like this? I've heard bad, i've heard decent..

Tempting, but the shipping will kill most of the deal for me. Think I'll wait to rent it first, even though I was ready to jump on it with a GR preorder.
after shipping for me brings it up to $41.76, still better then $49.99.
Certainly, unless I don't much care for the game after buying it. I just don't tend to buy games at launch unless I know I will like them or it's a fantastic deal. $35 shipped would be great sa it would probably trade in for $32-$35.

Thanks anyway, OP!

I've bought items from the Outpost site twice, and both times have been horrible. The first time I ordered, I ordered some DVDs, and it wasn't until after they arrived that I found out that two of them were backordered and were not available. They didn't even bother to email me to tell me that.

The second time was when I pre-ordered The Minish Cap, and when the game came out, I got an email telling me that they were backordered and my copy wouldn't ship until the next month, so I went into the site and cancelled my order, and just went and got my copy from Circuit City.
About a week later, a package comes in the mail. It's another copy of Minish Cap, despite the fact I had cancelled it. I checked my online bank statement, and sure enough, they had charged my credit card AFTER I cancelled my order. Fortunately, I still had my receipt from my CC copy and I just returned it there.

I would never order from that site again.
Yea, no multiplayer. No LAN, not even splitscreen.
yeah, no multiplayer hurts it alot. RTS using the LAN feature would of been awesome!

priced to move at $14.99.
How does it really stand up to the handhelds?
From what I've heard, having not played the Advance Wars titles, its not really comparable. Just a different game.

I just wanted to verify that the game is indeed $35 at Fry's B&M, at least in Washington. This is not obvious because though the game appeared in the Sunday and Monday ads, the price was not actually shown.

Not a bad deal at all, before I read reviews I wanted to buy a gamecube just for this game. After I read GI review, I was really taken back on how poor the game was.

I wouldn't go by GI, they seem to have a beef with Nintendo and their reviews suck in general. Take a look at the other reviews, pretty positive.
