Yakuza 4, Sin & Punishment & other BF titles still $10 at Walmart B&M

CAGiversary!
If you skipped Walmart on Black Friday like me, you still have a chance to find some leftover deals. Games that were on sale BF for $10 are still at that price in-store.

One important note: I've only been able to confirm that copies with a promotional UPC stickers on the back are still $10. Not sure about normal copies. Some have noticed the games still have circular orange stickers left over from the Black Friday sale. That's the quickest way of finding the $10 titles.

Most of the titles I've found are for the PS3 and Wii.

I will update this list with others' findings.

:ps3:
Alpha Protocol
Bakugan Battle Brawlers
Bioshock 2
Blood Drive

Original post
I was at Walmart after midnight Saturday and found Yakuza 4 was still $10. Any games that didn't have a generic UPC sticker were back to regular price (I price-checked Arkham City and Dance Central 2).

It could be YMMV but I thought some might be interested since the circular said the price was only Thursday through Friday. I avoid Walmart on Black Fridays, but I needed dog food so I stopped after work.

I was going to post this in the Black Friday thread but figured it would get lost in the postmortem discussion.

They might just roll out 1 price increase nationwide instead of doing it by time zone. If so east coasters have till 3am.

Least this is what I'm thinking as WM doesn't slip up that often. Although they have been more and more lately (AC:R for $40 on release etc)

im glad i live in hicktown ky. basically no one touched this or uncharted 2 but ate up madden 2012.

yay for less intelligent people lol.
my walmart didn't have any to start with on black friday. I am disappoint!
Same here, and I missed the amazon price match.

Yeah, yay for someone liking something not as popular..because someone who prefers football to Yakuza is an idiot.

With that said I blind bought it on AZ last night, was it worth $10? No idea what to expect

I'll check tomorrow afternoon, just in case.

Atleast Thursday at 10 there were none by the time I got there. I have a feeling alot of people didn't know exactly what they were getting though.

More like yay for people who pay $28 bucks (or higher) for a roster update.

And they're bothering you how? By spending a whole $28 dollars on a roster update?
And they're bothering you how? By spending a whole $28 dollars on a roster update?
They're not bothering me. If anything they are helping me by not purchasing the good value games. More power too them if they wanna pay for a roster update.

I was at Walmart last night and it was chaos. I got everything I was after, but I was first in line. Well, a line doesn't really form. A group begins to congregate around the display and then people go crazy. I had placed the games I wanted in the display slot in front of me and at 9:58 I dropped them in my reusable Walmart shopping bag and walked off because people started pushing and tearing at the games. I went back a little while ago to price match a few Xbox live cards to the BB price. There were still a ton of Batman AC, Yakuza, Heavy Rain, LBP 2 & GOW III. They even had the Batman AC bundle with AA.

Didn't find any copies at the two stores I went to. Probably didn't have any to begin with. Wish Amazon would put it up for $10 again.

the walmart near me apparently changed the prices before the day was over...I ended up having to argue over NCAA football 12. I still got it for 28 bucks, but after a ten minute wait.
Wait - were all the Dance Central 2s $15 regardless of sticker?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The price was back to 49.99 when I checked this morning. Only the games with the UPC sticker remained at the BF price. And the only games I saw with UPC stickers were the $10 games.

So you're too stupid to know what's in the game

Awesome

Yeah. The promo DC2s were gone when we got there, but we found a few copies in the regular isplay case. It rang up at $15.

What!? Dance Central was still $15 if you could find copies?! Damn! Did that deal end at midnight or is it still going?

Just picked up my copy for $10.xx! It had an orange sticker on the case. Even the employee was shocked that it rang up for $10. I also saw some promo Blu-Rays with the sticker. They rent up full price though. More money in my pocket! Thanks again OP!

I also found a copy of UFC Trainer in the $5 bin. I priced it and it was $49.95. :( Can't win them all, lol.

My wal mart only got 3 copies in. They were gone by friday, but I got one of them. I know the people who bought them besides me had no idea what they were buying because I live in a hicktown

Got a copy tonight. Seems like any game with a temp bar code sticker over the regular bar code still had the black friday price.

Nice to see some confirmation. All the games from the BF sale at my Walmart still had the round colored stickers. But everything was back at full price except games like Yakuza, which has a generic UPC sticker on the back covering the regular one.

Hopefully more people find some stuff still cheap.

Unfortunately I didn't see Dance Central 2 with that sticker on it. I would've picked that one up as well. I can still get it for $18 so it doesn't make a difference to me. Now I just have to get Yakuza and Yakuza 2 so I can play through this phenomenal series!

I got one copy in my local Walmart for $10 tonight at 7 p.m. (I think it was last one) so the promotional price was still good and all games in the Black friday sell still had their discount prices.

What are all of you talking about? There was no promotional UPC. That little sticker on the games in the displays were to denote the price. They are basic colored, circular stickers that you can buy anywhere; they in no way affected the price of the games, Lol. I just went over to the regular game case and got all of the games I wanted; I even went back later in the day and grabbed a few more of the Kinect $15 titles.

That's pretty awesome. Maybe your store didn't update yet. I know there were a few stores where the prices updated to full price earlier in the day. I hope you didn't pick up Kinect Sports Season 2...I heard it wasn't that good.
What are all of you talking about? There was no promotional UPC.
The majority of the games were like that, but some titles have UPC stickers on the back. THOSE are the games that haven't returned to regular price, at least at my store. The only games I saw with the UPC stickers were the $10 titles, and the only one I was interested in was Yakuza.
Maybe I'll ckeck my local walmart
It doesn't hurt man. I couldn't find Yakuza 4 on BF only looked for 15 minutes, and I snagged the last copy yesterday so you never know.

Just wanted to confirm that this is still live. I wound up hitting up my closest 24 hour Walmart and was going over piles of Black Friday items all scattered in multiple shopping carts. After some digging, spotted that Yakuza 4 spine to my great delight.

Other games that had stickers over the SKU were Bioshock 2 PS3 and Sin & Punishment. Wish there was a better list to see what other games might be still on sale, but Yakuza 4 will satisfy for now....

Ugh. I knew I should have asked about the dozens of copies of S&P they had behind the glass case, since a friend who works at one told me about how he paid $10 for his on Friday. Walmart by me didn't even have Yakuza 4 in their system, which burns me up greatly.

That's a darn good deal. If only I had a job, I'd pick it up, but alas, I do not. I'm sure my hicktown walmart would probably have it too. If I go there, I'll look for it.

Good to see some games still at sale prices,i also got PS3 Ghostbusters for $10,thought it might be fun.Usuually the blu rays go back up even with the promo stickers on them, they need to take them off the floor or remove the stickers, imo.

I'm really curious guys, all of the copies of Yakuza 4 look very worn, dirty and best up plastic, including the orange sticker and orange sticker. The copies I bought were locked in the cabinet and never out on the floor.

Is this game that old...?
*snip* but God how I hate that place...*snip*
I hate it too, and everything it represents. It's greedy, they don't carry American-made products like they did in the 90s, and they treat their store employees like crap (Distro center is another story, I have a friend who works there and they actually treat their employees good there). I mean - for Christ's sake, they haggle with suppliers over mere pennies! And they sell cheap crappy clothes. At least they're open 24 hours in most places.

Look at it this way, it always makes for some interesting people watching.:applause:

Snagged me this one Saturday as well. I was in Wal-Mart around 10 due to wife making me(And I work there, so it double sucks for me)...didn't find any games I wanted. I picked up Uncharted 2 but couldn't spend 15 on it. I wanted Wolfenstein(PS3) but put it back at the register. Sad to see no Yakuza..so wife got off work next morning and we went again. Only to find EVERYTHING we ever wanted. So save yourself the trouble...go the next day. People are ignorant..also...check the service desk. They tend to have everything you ever want as well. I guess people grab up too much.

Wait a minute... Yakuza 4 isn't American-made?

I updated the OP with more titles. Unfortunately there's not much else enticing for me.

Here are some one the ones I saw today for $10 and they aren't in the OP.

:ps3:
Alpha Protocol
Blood Drive
Disney Sing It (the first one)
Ghostbusters
Transformers: RotF

:360:
Blue Dragon

Picked up the last Yakuza 4 at $10 as well as Blood Drive for PS3.

Saw Toy Story 3 (PS3) but left it.

Also, Rock Band Country Track Pack (PS3) is marked down to $8.98.
