Yoshi's Island 2 NDS $16.79 YMMV and 40% off games at BB

I was able to score 2 copies of Yoshi's Island 2 at 2 different Blockbuster locations today for $16.79 each. They have 40% of all new games 29.99 and under. We have 4 local stores 2 had Yoshi's Island marked at 39.99 and 2 had it marked at 27.99 so its 16.79 after the 40% off. You may want to check the prices at your location. In my area the stock and prices vary drastically store to store.

That is one hot deal...I managed to get it for $29.99...

Maybe I should go out and get it, and make the ol' switcheroo.

Did you see any other games (DS more importantly) that would have qualified for this deal?
 
This is the only really great deal on DS games. Most DS games are more than 29.99, a few are 29.99 like the brain training titles which makes it 17.99 which is a decent deal. Some good deals on GC, Ps2, and Xbox if you are still in to those systems.

They also have the $5 minimum in trade value on DVDs again, so if you have some crap DVDs to ditch nows the time.

Its finally some payback. I live right on the border and for years I only bought games and systems in the U.S, the deals were way better in the U.S. Now the last few months have seen some amazing deals in Canada, overall the deals are still way better in the U.S.
 
Where do you see this "40% off" in the flyer? I cant see it for my location...what page was it on?

No, there are no sales on used games. There actually hasn't been a sale on used games in while which is weird.
